Hola Senora Fluffadoodle - A Sketch

Description

A little sketchy, stylised self-portrait. :happybounce: I've been secretely trying to develop a more realistic, western style recently, and this is where I am now. I've also fallen in love with hatching, and it shows here. :giggle:

I know, I shouldn't have used lined paper, but 'tis was all for fun. But still, though. I'd really like some constructive feedback on this. :)

Oh, and I love my new scanner! :happybounce: Learning the ropes, but it is much, much more easier than taking a picture with an iPad. ;P

Can't find related artwork, so, yeah. :P

Um...is that a mustache I see? o_o (I kept staring at it wondering what kind of shading is going on there. >_< )

Hatching is awesome, right?! Some areas I think the hatching should be a bit tighter (or use crosshatching), because they look more like stripes than shading.

A personal preference, but I find how thick looking the bangs are weird not covering the eyes. (I like how you drew the eyes BTW.)

Minor nitpicking: The visible earring on the left bothers me. (I don't think it should be visible at this angle.)
